Consultation on Aquatic Animal Health – KHV Disease status for England and Wales

Defra has launched a consultation on which health status would be most appropriate for England and Wales, in respect of Koi Herpesvirus (KHV) disease. Member States are required to declare a health status for each of the non-exotic diseases listed in Directive 2006/88/EC on animal health requirements for aquaculture animals and products thereof, and on the prevention and control of diseases in aquatic animals.
