Third sector strategy

Consultation published by The Ministry of Justice View original »

A consultation to enable the Ministry of Justice to finalise its third sector strategy for England and Wales, to strengthen the way the ministry works with voluntary and community groups to secure better public services and improve its policies.

The strategy is the overarching framework within which policy leads will develop more specific actions related to their responsibilities, in consultation with colleagues in the third sector and other stakeholders. An example is the NOMS third section action plan, which is also published for consultation on this website.

Timeframe

This consultation started on 20th December 2007 and ended on 20th March 2008.
