Contracting out of Highway Functions

This consultation details proposals for a new contracting out order for highways functions in both England and Wales. Contracting out functions enables partner organisations to carry out a statutory function without reference to the relevant authority. It is intended these orders will replace the existing highways contracting out orders.

Timeframe

This consultation started around the 11th February 2008 and ends on 22nd February 2008.
