The Department for Transport is seeking your views on whether to amend regulations in GB to permit the use of buses and coaches which are approved to either one of two international regulations and which provide a standard of safety equivalent to that required by existing national regulations but give alternative approval options for manufacturer, making it easier for those who sell buses in other countries.

Timeframe

This consultation started on 25th January 2008 and ended on 20th March 2008.
