Consultation on Population Based Health-Related Surveys

The Information Centre for Health and Social Care are reviewing their Population Based Health-Related Surveys which cover a diverse range of topics such as smoking, drinking, obesity, mental health and cardio-vascular disease. The following surveys are included:

The aim is to improve the relevance of the data collected. The proposal is to replace the HSE and some questions in the other surveys with a new health and social care survey. We believe that this new survey can make significant improvements, such as:
